The iBET selection and betting platform is a breakthrough methodology in the way bettable races and bettable runners are identified. While there is a myriad of complex inter-connecting relationships between race conditions and runner career performance, iBET has calculated a range of base standards which allow direct comparisions to be made and assessments determined on what comprises below average, average and above average betting opportunities.
Such is the power of new technology iBET has been able to uniquely encompass punter requirements with the setting of a fair price for each runner (betting to prices) and the assessment of a fair return (value betting).
The iBET process essentially places runners in one of three pricing categories.
Pricing Category 1
Category 1 runners are our profit maintainers. They are favourites or near favourites, priced up to $5. This group make an important contribution to turnover and consistency. This group also provides the majority of winners, so in the context of winning and losing runs, they provide an important role in keeping the ship steady.
Pricing Category 2
Category 2 runners are our key profit drivers. These are runners we expect to pay between $5 and $15. This the price range we expect most of our overlays to occur in.
Pricing Category 3
Category 3 runners are our super profit drivers. These are runners which you might in general sense be considered outsiders. They are runners we expect will pay over $15.
iBET Selection Strategies
Overlayed over the top of the iBET platform are the actual various iBET selection strategies. These strategies will be developed on an ongoing basis.
iBET Staking Plan

iBET Prime Bets
iBET PRIME bets are the top tier of iBET selections. They have a higher race strike with a corresponding higher level of consistency. These are the bets that you would follow if you are a conservative bettor.
iBET Secondary Bets
iBET SECONDARY bets are the second tier iBET selections. They can be best identified as being PRIME bets that may have one or more relative negative factors when compared to PRIME bets.
iBET Group 1 & Cup Bets
Group 1 and feature Cups events are the highlight of any race programe. We know from past experience that customers are curious as to what selections would have been made under a particular selection strategy. It is possible that a Group 1 or Cups race may qualify as an iBET race, but it is equally possible that it may not. Within the iBET platform GROUP 1 and CUPS races are all included, whether they qualify as iBET PRIME or SECONDARY BETS. If they do qualify they are identified as such.
